Gold Coast Borrel

By admin - Posted on 16 May 2011

We, the organizers of the Gold Coast Borrel, are a group of Dutch people who have been living on the Gold Coast for several years. Locals so to speak.

Gold Coast Borrel, is intended to provide the opportunity to meet up once a month (3rd Thursday) for a great evening to chat, have a drink (borrel) and a bite to eat. Goal is for anybody who is interested in getting or staying in touch with the Dutch community, has lived in The Netherlands, or has a Dutch connection or interest, to feel welcome to join us for this evening.

Students and Dutch people staying on the Gold Coast temporarily, could use this opportunity to meet fellow students and Dutchies and who knows, a business opportunity might present itself as an off spin from a great evening!

The Gold Coast Borrel is not just a " jongerenborrel ", but a borrel for both young and old and is held at:

"Grumpy’s Barefoot Bar & Grill"
Shop 57/79 Oasis Shopping Centre
Victoria Square

Time: 6:30pm onwards

Besides the monthly borrels, we are open to suggestions for other activities. BBQ in the park with the kids or perhaps watching the orange team together in a soccer match are some ideas of get-togethers. Feel free to contact us with ideas and suggestions.

To stay informed of the monthly borrel evening and possible other events, please join our mailing list by clicking HERE and check out our agenda from time to time.

Hopefully we will see you at the next Gold Coast Borrel!! Tot ziens!
